Spectrum Centre, 331-333 Shankill Road
28th March: 7.30pm – 9.30pm (doors 7.00pm)

Social troubles, creative initiatives, community ambitions. What’s been done in the decades gone: what will we see, tomorrow and 20 years on?

Join us for a discussion on the Shankill’s story – and community arts, past, present and future. The panel includes life-long Shankill activist, Jackie Redpath; playwright and theatre-maker, Jo Egan; film-maker and transformation theatre specialist Tom Magill; and Director of the Beat Carnival arts company, based in the area, David Boyd.

This is a European Arts Education Platform session open to other interested practitioners. This discussion gives space for critical reflection on our participatory arts practice.
