Living in her beloved Dalkey, in a fisherman’s cottage by the sea, Biddy is a renowned storyteller, who recounts the many adventures of her life including stories of culture, crime, food, tragedy, heritage and encounters with the interesting characters, who she has encountered in her amazing her life. Her story telling evenings have been described by the authoritative aluxurytravelblog.com, as: “Biddy will transport you to another era, with her magical storytelling. . . Her manner is compassionate and infectious.”

She authored Behind the Half Door: Stories of Food and Folk with Kady O Connell in 2017 and recounts her many adventures in a podcast entitled Behind the Half Door.
