27th March: 6.00pm – 7.30pm (doors 5.30pm)

How can popular culture’s fascination with true crime stories be used to make legal concepts interesting to wider audiences?

Academics and lawyers from the Law Society of Ireland, Middlesex University and The Open University will showcase their collaborative Streetlaw teaching methodology which has been used to increase levels of legal understanding in communities across Ireland and the UK. There will be an hour-long, immersive workshop followed by a panel discussion to discuss the methodology and the importance of raising levels of public legal literacy.
