Getting Women into Politics: Training Taster Session
50:50 NI and Stratagem are on a mission to get more women into elected politics. This year they launched a training programme that aims to give women the skills, knowledge and experience to run for elected office.

At this year’s Imagine festival they are offering a free taster session which will be delivered by Gráinne Walsh and Anna Mercer.

Grainne is Director of Stratagem, a leading political consultancy based in Belfast and part of the Connect Group in London. She has worked across all government departments, and with every party, over the lifetime of four Assembly terms, and has worked extensively at Westminster, as well as in Whitehall and local government.

Anna is Deputy Director at Stratagem and a former political advisor. With an interest in policy and institutional reform, she has presented to the highly-regarded Magill Summer School and Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement in the Oireachtas, as well as providing expert analysis for media outlets both locally and across the UK.

This session is free for all women in Northern Ireland over the age of 16. The fee will be refunded following attendance at the event. Places are limited, so please register early.

Age 16+.
