Old Staff Common Room, Queen's University, University Road
26th March: 3.00pm – 4.30pm (doors 2.45pm)

How will people’s citizenship be altered by the UK’s exit from the EU? And how will our sense of having a European identity be affected?

This session will provide an opportunity to engage, civilly and convivially, in a civic conversation about questions such as these. The conversation will be taking place around an anticipated moment of significant transition in the relationships within these European islands and between the UK parts of the British Isles and EU member states on mainland Europe.

The session will take the form of a conversational seminar, mixing brief provocations with periods of conversation in small groups. There will be links, in content and process, with a previous Imagine Festival session on Irishness, convened on St Patrick’s Day 2016.

The conversation will be facilitated by Denis Stewart, a member of the International Futures Forum, and will include brief provocations by several fellow citizens.
