Photography and Belfast: Past and Present
Hear from QUB researchers exploring how photography has been used to record and shape Belfast from the nineteenth century to the present day.
Join us for an evening of three talks relating to photography in Belfast from researchers at QUB. Historical perspectives will be shared by Lucy Wray, who will discuss photography in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and Sinead Burns, who will present on her work on photography during the troubles. Research on photography’s current role in recording and shaping the city will also be shared by Savannah Dodd.
