Picturing the Strand
Come along to the opening of this unique exhibition which presents multiple perspectives and interpretations of the Strand Cinema, which has been an iconic landmark of east Belfast since 1935.

The multi-media exhibition will include photographs, drawings, paintings, film and audio. And it will offer the first glimpse of a recently commissioned 3-d model which reimagines the Strand as a single screen picturehouse.

The exhibition will also give you a chance to contribute your own memories, stories and interpretations of the Strand.

No need to register – just turn up to view the exhibition!

Part of the ‘Strand Stories’ project which is managed by the Strand Arts Centre and is kindly supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The exhibition runs from Thursday 24th – Sunday 27th March.
