Starts at Divis Tower, Falls Road
25th March: 2.00pm – 4.30pm

Led by Paul ‘Donzo’ Donnelly, our West Belfast walking tour explains the history of the Troubles while visiting the murals and memorial gardens on the Falls and Shankill Roads, and the infamous peace line which separates them.

You will learn how the Troubles began, how it unfolded over the next 30 years and affected the communities you will visit; what it was like to live here and how it’s legacy still affects the city and its people. We also explore the path to peace, and the challenges ahead for us all.

Paul is a Belfast native who grew up during the conflict. A qualified teacher, he has also worked extensively as a mediator in interface peace-building and community transformation projects and delivered history programmes for victims and survivor groups across Northern Ireland.
