25th March: 3.00pm

Deloitte New Forums – An Open Innovation Conversation focused on sustainability.
An online, interactive session that will allow attendees to get fully involved in the discussion. The session will focus around answering the question: What can we learn from the start-up market about the circular economy?

The Circular Economy: what exactly does it mean and is it a term that resonates now more that ever? In our current economy, raw natural resources are taken, transformed into products and get disposed of. On the opposite, a circular economy model is a system that is restorative by design. It replaces the end-of-life concept with restoration, shifts towards the use of renewable energy whilst eliminating the use of toxic chemicals. A serious investigation into a global shift towards a circular economy has never been more necessary given the issues we face on climate and pandemics.

Join us in this one hour interactive New Forums session with special guests Stephen McPeake from Civic Dollars and Michael Groves from Topolytics whose business ethos are both centred around the benefits of the circular economy. Understand the benefits of this model and how we as individuals and businesses can work collectively to help us shift towards a more sustainable way of living.
