Financial Support for Your Event

We want to help you cover the costs of your event. Here’s how we can assist:

  • Ticket Income: As a starting point, we will pay partners the net income from tickets sold for their events (i.e. minus box office fees).

Apply for Additional Funding

If you need more help, you may be eligible for a small event subsidy. To be considered, please answer the additional questions below.

Subsidy Eligibility Criteria:

  • You are a registered charity (with turnover less than £100K), a community group or an individual artist/speaker/facilitator.
  • Your event’s ticket income will not cover its total costs.
  • The event is aligned with the Imagine Festival’s vision and values.

The Imagine Festival’s Director and Board will consider all subsidy applications individually. As our funding is finite, we cannot guarantee a subsidy for every eligible event. On rare occasions exceptions may apply at the Board’s discretion and in exceptional circumstances.

Your Responsibilities

By submitting this event proposal to the Imagine! Belfast Festival, we confirm the following:

  • Our proposed event is in keeping with the mission aims and values of the festival.
  • We agree to abide by the Imagine! Belfast Festival event guidelines, including promoting the full festival programme.
  • We will carry out a risk assessment and safeguarding assessment and ensure all appropriate actions are taken to ensure our event complies with all health and safety and safeguarding requirements.
  • We will have public liability insurance in place for the event and will provide confirmation of insurance to the festival organisers as required.
