Art is Collective Exhibition and drop in

Art is Collective Exhibition and drop in
A week-long exhibition, with drop in on 21st March.

19TH – 24TH MARCH

10:00AM – 6:00PM

2 Royal Avenue, Belfast

FREE ADMISSION

Art is collective is a group of nine artists which started as an assisted studio pilot in Castlecourt shopping centre, supported by Belfast City Council, which now has a temporary home in 2 Royal Avenue, while looking for a permanent home.

Recognising that the assisted studio model popular around the world has no example in Northern Ireland where artists who have an art practice but cannot function in a studio environment on their own be it for mental health or disability reasons can come together to be supported in their creativity through this studio.

On 21st March there will be an Open assisted studio where you can see the artist’s work and talk with them about their work.

The artists are supported by Ngaire Jackson, Bronagh Lawson and Coby Moore

Come and see/purchase their work and meet the artists involved.

Artists: Christopher Simpson, Tommy Dunlop, Sarah McConnell, Kieran Bannon, Maura Corr, Anna Canavan, Jeffery Roberts, Justine McConnell and Emmanuel Cunningham. Assisting artists: Alastair McClennan, Ngaire Jackson, Bronagh Lawson and Coby Moore
