This gentle audio-assisted city centre stroll (approx one mile) will begin at Riddel’s ironmongery warehouse and take in the buildings of Thomas Jackson (the architect of Riddel’s) along with the history of the iron industry in Belfast.
You’ll be shown cast-iron makers marks and, weather permitting, take rubbings to leave with a lasting memory.
Expect yarns of Victorian “ingenuity, gumption and acumen”.
Come dressed for the weather and a one mile walk.
