As part of our recent festival we asked people to submit and share their photographs on how they see our city in new and progressive ways.
We were pleased that 56 photos were received and a small panel of judges selected 12 of these images as part of an exhibition that was hosted by Framewerk Gallery during 16-21 May. During the exhibition visitors were asked to nominate their favourite picture. In the event, two pictures topped the poll so the prize was shared by Sara Trusciglio ‘An Open Challenge to Widespread Apathy’ and Tim K Newell ‘BT3 UFO’.
We were delighted to receive such a stimulating and diverse representation of Belfast as posted below. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the competition and especially Framewerk Gallery for partnering with the festival this year.
