Seosamh Mac is a songwriter, Irish speaker & traditional musician from Belfast, Ireland.
From fierce joy to righteous anger, from mischievous spirits to cries for freedom, social activism, Irish myth and questions of love and identity are just some of the inspirations for these songs, all of which on his first EP are in the Irish language.
Seosamh crafts songs by blending Irish traditional music with flavours from other genres and cultures from around the world – emphasising respect and solidarity with their struggles, telling stories of our shared humanity and creating music to move the body and stir the soul.
